First Trinity Women's
Group is now named the Wise Women (Sage Femme) Officers are Bonnie Priebe, President and Ruth Worman, Treasurer. The group participated in the May 5th ,Metro DC Synod Women of the ELCA Convention with Pastor Wendy Moen serving as Chaplain.. We took a retreat in the spring of 2007 to Richmond Hill, and have been inspired by them to urge ELCA congregations to pray for the city of Washington and our surroundings.
Our latest project, Wreaths of Christ, are available for sale. We offer a Wreath and an explanation booklet for $5. Great gift for anyone going through a hard time, as it provides a focus and pattern for prayer.For more information on Wreaths of Christ, an ecumenical rosary from Sweden, check out http://www.rukoushelmet.net/English.htm We had our second retreat at Bon Secours Spiritual Center on March 15, 2008. In a peaceful setting, 15 of us explored the topic of forgiveness and bonded.

We took our Fair Trade Goods to the Metro DC Synod WELCA meeting on May 3 along with a big First Trinity Wise Women turnout!
